Subbottom
Blurb about why Subbottom is important and what this type of imagery can help the customer gain.
Subbottom profiling is essential when a project requires insight beyond the visible seafloor surface. This new technology allows us to image sediment layers and shallow geologic features beneath the bottom, buried objects, and potential obstructions. This information strengthens overall survey design by identifying areas that may require additional investigation, alternative routing, or specialized construction approaches. It is particularly valuable for cable and pipeline planning, dredging projects, and geotechnical assessments where subsurface conditions directly impact feasibility and cost. Subbottom data adds critical context to bathymetry and sidescan results, creating a more complete understanding of the marine environment.
